Your privacy is extremely important to us and we know you are trusting us with your data.  Your information will not be sold, released, or given to anyone by us without a court order or your written consent.  In the event we are served a court order, we will take steps to ensure the order is lawful and legitimate before releasing any information.  If the order is found to be lawful and legitimate we will follow and comply with the applicable laws.  We know in this day and age your information is important and valuable to you, we operate our business how we would want a business to be operated if we were the customer.  If you sign up for our email list, register for a class, or make a purchase you have the option of staying on our email lists that are only generated by us.  If at any time you want to opt out, there are instructions on how to do so on every email.  We hate unwanted emails too so we will respect your wishes.

Company

Timm Training & Consulting LLC is a limited liability company established in the State of Minnesota and operates under and in accordance with Minnesota State Laws including sales tax regulations. Timm Training & Consulting LLC is also doing business as Patrol Tactical. Herein after Timm Training & Consulting LLC, DBA Patrol Tactical, DBA Learning Firearms, may be referred to as Timm Training & Consulting LLC, Timm Training & Consulting, Patrol Tactical, Learning Firearms and/or we, us, or simply “the company.”


Purpose

This privacy policy sets out how we use and protects any information that you give us when you use this website. Timm Training & Consulting LLC is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this website, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement. We may change this policy from time to time by updating this page. You should check this page from time to time to ensure that you are happy with any changes. This policy is effective from the 1st of March, 2014.


What we collect

We may collect the following information:

     -Name

     -Your job title and employer/agency

     -Contact information including email address

     -Demographic information such as zip code, preferences and interests

     -Other information relevant to customer surveys and/or offers

     -Your training firearm information (Make, Model, caliber), required for classes to ensure safety and appropriate training experience

     -Your prior training experience to ensure you are qualified to be in the class or event for your safety and the safety of others

     -Your Peace Officer or professional license number, if applicable, for POST credits and/or continuing education credits

     -Your credentials such as permit to carry, background letter etc, this is to ensure you are legally able to participate in training


What we do with the information we gather

We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons:

     -Internal record keeping

     -Maintaining training record for government compliance (POST Records for licensed Peace Officers)

     -We may use the information to improve our products and services

     -We may periodically send promotional emails about new products, special offers or other information which we think you may find interesting

     using the email address which you have provided

     -From time to time, we may also use your information to contact you for market research and feedback purposes. We may contact you by

     email, phone, fax or mail. This is mainly for our feedback to make sure you are satisfied with your product, service, or class.  We don't like

     annoying surveys and don't expect you to.  However, your feedback is very valuable to us, how we can make our experience better only comes

     with feedback from you


Security

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.  We have armed guards and watch dogs on premise, our dogs can not be bribed anything less that sirloin USDA Choice beef.  Cheap criminals who only bring hot dogs will be sorry.  


How we use cookies

Controlling your personal information

You may choose to restrict the collection or use of your personal information.  Whenever you are asked to fill in a form on the website, only fill out what information you want us to have.  For our email list we will obviously need your email address, but if you don't want to provide us your name, that's ok.  For class registration we do need accurate and complete information.  This ensures that you are who you say you are, not a convicted felon or someone otherwise ineligible for training.  You may be asked to provide agency identification or other proof that you are legally able to posses firearm(s) and ammunition.  In those cases your information will be verified and securely deleted, we have no interest of keeping, storing, or archiving your private information.  You may also choose to verify your information in person.


Release of Information

We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties PERIOD.  If we are served a document, court order, warrant, or subpoena we may be required by law to do so. We may use your personal information to send you promotional information about upcoming training events, products, group buys and events, and related events and opportunities we think you may find interesting.  You may request details of personal information which we hold about you under the Data Protection Act 1998.  If you would like a copy of the information held on you please contact us.If you believe that any information we are holding on you is incorrect or incomplete, please write to or email us as soon as possible. We will promptly correct any information found to be incorrect.
